Business Challenge

The Investment Bank needed to relocate its entire Disaster Recovery (DR) data centre to a new specialist co-location facility while maintaining uninterrupted operational stability across the organisation. The programme represented one of the bank's largest and most complex infrastructure initiatives, involving every major technology domain, critical business application and operational service under strict regulatory and delivery deadlines.

Archer Approach

Led the end-to-end delivery of the enterprise-wide Disaster Recovery relocation programme, providing strategic leadership across 28 technical workstreams, more than 100 engineers and specialists, and ten external delivery partners.

Directed programme governance, executive stakeholder engagement, vendor management, dependency mapping, risk management and implementation planning, coordinating the controlled relocation of thousands of technology assets across tightly managed change windows. Every phase was designed to minimise operational risk while maintaining business continuity throughout the transition.

Organisational Impact
Successfully relocated the organisation's entire Disaster Recovery estate without disrupting business operations.

Coordinated more than 280 controlled ServiceNow production changes, with only two minor issues identified, both relating to legacy implementations rather than the relocation programme.

Achieved zero critical outages throughout programme execution.
