This is my single consultancy operation that I started.
Project Specialist - Independent Consultant
After leaving the Healthcare organisation, I launched a small consultancy, with my first client coming onboard immediately. I supported them on several customer-facing projects, including Disaster Recovery testing, ensuring each initiative met the standards required by external auditors.
During this time, I expanded my professional development, completing AgilePM and PRINCE2, and began exploring opportunities to collaborate with accredited training providers.
I was approached by multiple training houses to deliver intensive PMP preparation courses. Although the opportunities were promising, I declined them based on principle. I believe project leadership should be built on strong foundational understanding, not short-term exam cramming, and I remain committed to training future leaders through practical, ethical, and evidence-based methods.
My consultancy phase was short by design, as I soon accepted an exciting permanent role at ABSA Bank.
